LAUREN is a choreographer, performer, and arts educator. She has danced for Liz Lerman, Christine Cali, and Risa Jaroslow. She is a founding member of Simpson/Stulberg Collaborations, a Bay Area based dance company. S/S Collaborations has been the recipient of CA$H Grant, Zellerbach Foundation and Rainin Opportunity Fund support, and was FACT/SF’s resident JUMP Choreographer Fall 2015. Lauren teaches dance at the University of San Francisco. In Boston, she was the co-founder of a contemporary dance class series, Moving Target Boston, which brought in a roster of influential choreographers like David Dorfman, Kyle Abraham, Kendra Portier, Kellie Lynch, and Paul Matteson. Lauren was a full time dance teacher at the Cambridge Rindge & Latin School and a Lecturer at Harvard College where she taught dance history and worked closely with Director Jill Johnson. JENNY is a dance artist, teacher, and filmmaker. Recent performances include works by Hope Mohr Dance, Christine Cali/CALI & CO., and her ongoing collaborative series of Still Life Dances with creative partner Lauren Simpson. S/S Collaborations has been the recipient of Zellerbach, CA$H Grant, and the Rainin Opportunity Fund. They were also chosen to be the Fall 2015 Resident Choreographers for local dance company FACT/SF. Jenny's solo choreography has been commissioned by the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program and she has taught on the dance faculties of AMDA Los Angeles, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Santa Rosa High School. Jenny's dance-films have been accepted into festivals across the country, including Tiny Dance Film Festival, ADF International Screendance Festival, EnCORE: Dance on Film, and Dance Camera West, two years in a row. Her film-work has also been contracted by major companies in SF and NYC such as BANDALOOP, Joe Goode Performance Group, Scott Wells & Dancers and New York City Ballet.
